I denne uge fortsatte prisstigninger i Europa på både smør (+2,6%), WMP (+1,8%) og SMP (+2,2%), mens noteringen for ost endnu engang var uændret. Stigningen på smør betyder nu at prisen har passeret 4.700 EUR/ton.

På tirsdagens GDT-auktion steg GDT-indekset for femte gang i træk. Denne gang med 3,2 pct. For de enkelte produkter skete der følgende ændringer: WMP: +1,3 pct. til USD 3.312/ton, SMP: +1,0 pct. til USD 1.998/ton, AMF: +8,2 pct. til USD 6.631/ton, smør: +11,2 pct. til USD 5.479/ton, cheddar: +0,6 pct. til USD 3.726/ton, BMP: +7,0 pct. til USD 1.980/ton, laktose: +2,0 pct. til USD 967/ton samt løbekasein: -3,7 pct. til USD 6.259/ton.

Indvejningen i EU i marts 2017 forventes at ende på stort set samme niveau som i marts 2016.
UK summary
This week the prices continued to rise for both butter (+2.6%), WMP (+1.8%) and SMP (+2.2%). Now the price for butter has passed 4700 EUR/t. For cheese the quotation was unchanged again this week. Yesterday the GDT auction ended with a rise for the GDT-index at 3.2 percent. It is the 5th auction in row with a rising GDT-index. The milk intake in EU in Marts 2017 is estimated to end at the same level as in Marts 2016.
