Hvilken type mælkeprotein er bedst til at øge muskelmassen når indtaget lige efter styrketræning i utrænede såvel som i eliteatleter?

Formålet med projektet er at vurdere hvorvidt valleprotein, som er hurtigt optageligt i fordøjelsessystemet, stimulerer til muskeltilvækst i højere grad end det langsommere optageige kasein.

Projektet vil give viden omkring hvilken proteinkilde fra mælk, der er bedst til at øge muskelopbygningen når indtage sker lige efter træning. Denne proteinkilde vil vi på den baggrundkunne anbefale til anvendelse i sportsdrik til styrketrænede atleter. Desuden vil man opnå viden omkring hvorvidt meget veltrænede atleter i samme grad vil have gavn af proteinindtaget og opnå ny viden omkring deres optimale indtag efter styrketræning.
